Mortgage Help in San Diego and California

I’m Alexander Good, a California broker licensed in real estate, mortgage, and insurance. I help buyers finance a home purchase and help homeowners refinance, and I keep the loan lined up with your offer, your closing date, and your insurance.

I’m based in San Diego and work with clients from San Diego to the Bay Area.

What I Help With

Whether you’re buying a home or already own one, I work with you on the loan from the first conversation through closing.

Purchase Financing

A loan for the home you’re buying, planned around your offer and your escrow timeline.

Refinance

Replacing your current mortgage with a new loan, for example to change your rate, your loan term, or your monthly payment.

Cash-Out Refinance

A new loan for more than you currently owe, so you receive part of your home’s equity in cash at closing. We talk through the tradeoffs first, since it increases your loan balance.

Why One Broker for the Home, the Loan, and the Insurance

When your agent, lender, and insurance contact work separately, small gaps can turn into expensive surprises. Because I’m licensed in all three, your offer, financing, and coverage stay aligned from start to close.

  • Your offer is written with your financing in mind, and the loan timeline is planned around your closing date.
  • Homeowners insurance is matched to the property and to your lender’s requirements before closing.
  • One point of contact, so fewer details fall between the agent, the lender, and the insurance agent.

You’re always free to choose your own lender, real estate agent, and insurance provider.

How It Works

  1. Step 1: Tell me your plans

Send a short note through my contact form: buying, refinancing, or taking cash out, and your timing. I’ll reach out to set up a time to talk.

  2. Step 2: Review your options

We talk through your goals, your budget, and the documents you’ll need, before you apply.

  3. Step 3: Apply online

You complete the application and upload documents through a secure third-party portal. After you apply, you receive a Loan Estimate that shows the loan’s terms and estimated costs.

  4. Step 4: Underwriting to closing

I work with the lender and escrow through underwriting and closing, and keep you updated along the way.

Questions and Answers

Do you list interest rates on this site?

No. Rates and terms depend on your credit, the property, the loan amount, and market conditions on the day your rate is locked, so I don’t post them here. Once I understand your situation, I can go over the options available to you.

Can you help if I’m refinancing and not buying?

Yes. Refinance and cash-out refinance are part of what I do, whether or not I helped you buy the home.

What happens when I start the online application?

The link opens a secure third-party application portal in a new tab. The portal shows the name Properkey, the licensed company that does business as Triple Broker. You create an account, choose the state where the property is located, and then complete the application. If you’d rather talk first, send me a note instead.

Does applying mean I’m approved or committed?

No. An application is not an approval, and it doesn’t obligate you to take the loan. All loans are subject to credit approval, underwriting, and property review, and not all applicants will qualify.

How can I see what the mortgage broker is paid?

Your Loan Estimate shows the loan’s estimated costs, and your Closing Disclosure, which you receive before closing, shows the final costs, including what the mortgage broker is paid and by whom. I’m happy to walk you through both documents.

Where are you licensed to arrange loans?

I hold mortgage loan originator licenses in California, Florida, and Idaho. My license numbers are listed below, and you can verify them on NMLS Consumer Access.
